BRINKERHOFF, Henry J., a Representative from Cumberland County; born in Gettysburg, Adams County, Pa., November 19, 1855; general store clerk; mercantilist, grain, feed, coal, and lumber; proprietor, general store; fruit grower; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Barnitz Station, Pa. (1878-1883) and Mount Rock, Pa. (1883-1902); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1903 and 1905 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1907 term; died, May 7, 1937 in Pennsylvania; interred, Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
