BRAY, Dr. Edward Griswold, a Representative from Carbon County; born, August 20, 1876 in Lambertville, Hunterdon County, NJ; M.S., Lafayette College; M.D., University of Maryland Medical School, 1904; elected, coroner, Carbon County (2 years); medical inspector, Carbon County (10 years); served, Draft Board No. 2, Carbon County, World War I; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1924 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1926); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1926); died, November 15, 1931 in Mauch Chunk (now Jim Thorpe), Carbon County, Pennsylvania; interred, John Hancock Cemetery, Florham Park, Morris County, New Jersey.
