BRANN, James, a Representative from Warren County; born, November 12, 1862 in Port Colburn, Ontario, Canada; attended, Warren Business College; horseshoeing trade; employed, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1889-1890); elected, city council, city of Warren (1893-1900); elected, sheriff, Warren County (1901-1904); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1904 and 1906; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1908); oil entrepreneur; president, Rine Drilling Company; died, February 15, 1945 in Bartlesville, Washington County, Oklahoma; interred, Memorial Park Cemetery, Bartlesville, Washington County, Oklahoma.
