BOYNE, Edward A., a Representative from McKean County; born, January 14, 1839 in New York City, New York County, NY; 1861, private, Company I, 27th Regiment, New York Volunteer Infantry (1861-1862, Civil War); sergeant, heavy artillery, 5th Regiment, New York Volunteer Infantry (1864-1865, Civil War); oil producer; elected, city treasurer, Bradford (1887-1890); elected as a Fusion Republican to the House of Representatives in 1900; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1902); died, February 14, 1923 in Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Hill Cemetery, Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania.
