BOULTON, Harry, a Representative from Clearfield County; born, October 2, 1872 in West Hartlepool, County Durham, England; attended, Potts Business School, Williampsort; coal miner; stenographer and clerk; lawyer (1897-1955); member, Clearfield County Republican Committee; director, First National Bank of Houtzdale; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1902, 1904, and 1916; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1906, 1918); attorney, Morrison Coal Mining Company; attorney, Kittaning Coal Company; founder, American Mine Owners Life Insurance Company and Pennsylvania Bituminous Mutual Casualty Company (1917); appointed, commissioner,  Coal Port of Philadelphia; president, American Re-Insurance Company (1920-1923); proprietor, coal mine; permanant Arbitrator between coal Unions and Operators (1934-1942); died, November 11, 1955 in Clearfield, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; interred, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Brisbin, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
