BONHAM, Benjamin Franklin, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, July 3, 1845 in Buckingham, Bucks County, Pa.; attended, Friends’ School, Philadelphia; contractor; clerk, Office of Treasurer, Philadelphia (1871-1877); elected, council, Philadelphia (1872-1877); deputy harbor master of Philadelphia (1879-1883); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1900; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1902); died, July 8, 1916 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
