BLUMLE, Frank X. a Representative from Cameron County; born in Zeughouse, Württemberg, Germany, September 9, 1848; educated in the school of agriculture and forestry, Eglingen, Ger.; farmer; brewer and bottler; elected, treasurer, Cameron County (1892-1894); president, the Agricultural Society of Cameron (3 years); president, Shippen Township school board (3 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1900 and 1902; unseated by contest, April 15, 1903; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1904); died, August 19, 1924 in Shippen Township, Cameron County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Marks Cemetery, Emporium, Cameron County, Pennsylvania.
