BLANCK, Dr. Joseph Elwood, a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Sumneytown, Montgomery County, Pa., July 11, 1863; attended, Sumneytown Academy; attended, Muhlenberg College; M.D., Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College), 1886; teacher (4 years); physician; secretary, school board, Green Lane (20 years); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1918; unsuccessful campaign for reelection the House in the 1920 General election; died, January 19, 1923 in East Greenville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Friedens Union Church Cemetery, Sumneytown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
