BERGEY, Henry Wilson, a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Towamencing Township, Montgomery County, Pa., January 18, 1875; stove foundry apprentice (1891-1902); traveling stove salesman (1902-1911); editor, Lansdale Republican (1911-1917); musician, 6th Regiment Band of Pennsylvania (6 years); constable, Royersford (3 years); appointed, registrar, Cleveland, Ohio; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1910); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1912; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1914 General election; stove salesman; died, March 20, 1945 in Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
