BELL, Frederick A., a Representative from Blair County; born, The Summit, Cambria County, Pa. on August 27, 1864; attended, Altoona public schools; special agent supervisor of expenditures, Pennsylvania Railroad Company, Altoona (1882-1932); elected, city council, Altoona (1898-1899); elected, school board, Altoona (1900-1907); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1918; reelected and served 5 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1930); died, November 2, 1951 in Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Ridge Cemetery, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
