Claude, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, May 28, 1866 in Centralia, Columbia County, Pa.; LL.B., University of Pennsylvania Law School, 1889; LL.M., University of Pennsylvania Law School, 1890; lawyer; elected as a Fusion Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1901 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1903 term; professor of law, Temple University; national solicitor of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church; died, February 20, 1942 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; interred, Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
