BECKLEY, Ross Lecoy, a Representative from Cumberland County; born, New Cumberland, Cumberland County, Pa., July 18, 1878; graduated, Steelton High School; attended, Millersburg State (University) Normal School; teacher (7 years); school director, New Cumberland (4 years); secretary and treasurer, Harrisburg Electric Supply Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1919 and 1921 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1923 term; accountant, Pennsylvania Department of Banking (10 years); died, May 8, 1948 in New Cumberland, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Township, York County, Pennsylvania.
