BECK, Jacob Edward, a Representative from Franklin County; born, March 9, 1868 in Uniontown, Carroll County, Md.; attended, New Windsor College; farmer; hardware merchant, Beck and Benedict; director, Bank of Waynesboro; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1914; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1916 General election; died, February 26, 1925 in Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
