SERAFINI, Frank A., a Representative from Lackawanna and Susquehanna Counties; born in Taylor, Lackawanna County, Pa., February 15, 1945; graduated, Scranton Central High School; B.S., accounting, University of Scranton, 1966; M.B.A., Finance, Bucknell University, 1968; attended, New York University; attended, The Pennsylvania State University; attended, Integrated Machines Bureau; served, United States Army Reserves (1966-1972); accountant; restaurant owner; engaged, real estate sales; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1979 term and served 10 more consecutive terms; appointed, Special House Committee on the Homeless (1984); appointed, chair, Select Committee to Study Business Activities of Nonprofits (1987-1988); resigned from the House, February 7, 2000.
