BARNHART, Harry H., a Representative from Lebanon County; born in Annville, Lebanon County, Pa., December 16, 1880; attended, Lebanon Valley College; major, Company D, 109th Machine Gun Battalion, 28th Division, Pennsylvania National Guard (1898-1937: Spanish-American War, Mexican Border, World War I); electrician, Pennsylvania and Bethlehem Steel Companies; employed, Pennsylvania State Banking Department (1919-1921); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1921 term; resigned from the House, October 20, 1921; manager, Central Pennsylvania United States Veterans Bureau; died, January 20, 1939 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia.
