BARNHART, Frank P., a Representative from Cambria County; born in Johnstown, Cambria County, Pa., September 6, 1877; graduated, Indiana Normal School (now Indiana University of Pennsylvania), 1895; A.B., Princeton University, 1902; M.A., Dickinson College, 1905; graduated, Dickinson College School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law), 1905; teacher, Blairsville High School; principal, Seventh Ward and Somerset Street Schools, Johnstown; lawyer (1906-1958); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1907 and 1909 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1911 term; appointed, judge, Cambria County Common Pleas Court (1929-1930); trustee, Dickinson Law School (32 years); solicitor, Johnstown (2 years); solicitor, Cambria County commissioners; died, November 26, 1961 in Winber, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
