BARNER, Horace Colder, a Representative from Cumberland County, born in Susquehanna Township, Juniata County, Pa., August 6, 1865; teacher; farmer; school director (3 terms); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1912 and 1916; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1914, 1918); died, July 23, 1950 in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
