BALTHASER, Francis William, a Representative from Berks County; born in Upper Bern Township, Berks County, Pa., February 24, 1866; graduated, Bernville High School; graduated, Keystone State Normal School (now Kutztown University of Pennsylvania), 1888; farmer; teacher; supervisor, Fleetwood School District; elected, delegate, Congressional Convention (1898); elected, borough auditor (6 years); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1903 term and reelected to serve the following term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1907 term; died, July 23, 1927 in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
