BAKER, Lewis C., a Representative from Warren County; born, March 31, 1833 in Freedom, Cattaraugus County, NY; educated in public schools; mercantile businessman; elected, council and burgess of Columbus Township; officer, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (8 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1900 and 1902; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1904); died in 1916; interred, David Curtis Cemetery, Columbus, Warren County, Pennsylvania.
