ANDERSON, Hiram LeRoy, a Representative from Mercer County; born in Jefferson Township, Mercer County, Pa., November 4, 1884; graduated, Fredonia Institute; teacher; school superintendent, Cecil Township, Washington County; lumberman and thresher; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1923 and 1925 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1926 General election; president, Pennsylvania Threshermen’s and Farmers’ Mutual Casualty Insurance Company, Inc. (1925-1933); died, April 18, 1937; interred, Woodland Cemetery, Grove City, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
