ANDERSON, Dr. David Miller, a Representative from Washington County; born, November 30, 1837 in Beaver County, Pa.; attended, Hookstown Academy; attended, Beaver Academy; attended, medical courses, University of Michigan; M.D., Bellevue Hospital Medical College, 1866; acting medical cadet, Camp Curtain; assistant surgeon, 12th Regiment, United States Colored Infantry (1864-1865, Civil War); gold miner; physician; engaged, coal business; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1892 and 1894; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1896); reelected to the House in 1900 and 1902; died while in office, February 16, 1903 in Venetia, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Finleyville Cemetery, Finleyville, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
