ALCORN, George Milton, a Representative from Clearfield County; born, November 4, 1858 near Dayton, Armstrong County, Pa.; educated in the public schools; farmer; general store clerk; mill and lumber worker; paint contractor; elected, tax collector, DuBois; elected, council, Dubois (1913-1917); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1914; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1916); elected, assessor, Clearfield County (16 years); died, September 23, 1935 in DuBois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; interred, Rumbarger Cemetery, Dubois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
