ALBERT, Wilmer, a Representative from Northampton County; born in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County, Pa., March 24, 1873; salesman, slate firm and oil company; elected, school board, Mount Bethel Township (1910-1916); elected, school board, Wind Gap (1919-1922); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1922 and served 1 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1924, 1926); elected, tax collector, Wind Gap (1935-1954); elected, council, Wind Gap; died, July 15, 1965 in Wind Gap, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Richmond Methodist Cemetery, Bangor, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
