ADAMS, James Lee, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, May 27,1873 in Pennsylvania; graduated, Slippery Rock State Normal School (now Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania), 1898; attended, law, Western University of Pennsylvania (now University of Pittsburgh); lawyer (1906-1946); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1906 and 1908; resigned from the House, November 16, 1909; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1909-1912); Four-Minute man, World War I; examiner, Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission; died, April 20, 1946 in Mt. Lebanon, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
