MURRAY, Harvey P., a Representative from Snyder County; born in Mausdale, Montour County, Pa., April 12, 1904; graduated, Danville High School; served, Corps of Engineers, United States Army (1942-1946, World War II); oil distributor; superintendent of highways, Snyder County (1927-1950); chief burgess, Selinsgrove (1950-1958); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1955 term; reelected to the House to serve the 1957 and 1959 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1961 term; vice-chair, Snyder County Republican Committee; elected, register and recorder, Snyder County (1961-1977); died, October 13, 1987 in  Danville, Montour County, Pennsylvania; interred, Evergreen Cemetery, Selinsgrove, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.
