PUNT, Terry L., a Representative from Franklin and Fulton Counties; born in Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pa., August 13, 1949; graduated, Waynesboro Senior High School, 1967; attend, University of Maryland; served, United States Army (1967-1970, Vietnam War); employed, Grove Manufacturing (1973-1978); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1978 and served 4 more consecutive terms; appointed, Special Bipartisan Committee to Investigate Industrial Plant Closings (1984); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1988); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1989-2008); appointed, Pennsylvania Emergency Management Authority (1989-1990); died, December 28, 2009 in Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
