BRADLEY, Joseph Patrick, Jr., a Representative from Northumberland and Schuylkill Counties; born in Shamokin, Northumberland County, Pa., November 27, 1926; graduated, Mount Carmel Catholic High School; attended, Scranton University; attended, University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School; seaman first class, "U.S.S. San Saba," United States Navy (World War II); insurance broker; co-chairman, Mount Carmel Municipal Recreation Authority; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1975 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1976); died, January 8, 1994 in Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mount Caramel, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
