ZIMMERMAN, William Ellis, a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pa., August 18, 1905; attended, Lansdale public schools; A.B., George Washington University; LL.B., Georgetown University; sergeant, United States Army (World War I); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1933 term and reelected to serve the following term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1937 term; assistant superintendent, Sun Oil Company; founder, North Penn Hospital; member, North Penn Water Authority; died, January 7, 1975 in North Wales, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Church of the Messiah Cemetery, Gwynedd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
