YOUNG, Edward C., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, June 21, 1877 in Washington, DC; clerk, United States Senate Post Office; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1941 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1943 term; died, February 23, 1943 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Columbian Harmony Cemetery, Washington, District of Columbia (defunct); removed to National Harmony Memorial Park Cemetery, Landover, Prince George's County, Maryland.
