YEAKEL, Wilson Lewis, a Representative from Bucks County; born in South Perkasie, Bucks County, Pa., April 19, 1879; graduated, Allentown High School; graduated, Easton School of Optics; graduated, Philadelphia Optical College; optomotrist; jeweler; school director; director, Perkasie Trust Company; director, Progressive Building and Loan Association; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1929 term and served 12 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1954); died, May 20, 1964 in West Rockhill Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. Stephens United Church of Christ Cemetery, Perkasie, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
