WILSON, Henry I., a Representative from Jefferson County; born in Charleston Township, Tioga County, Pa., April 10, 1869; graduated, Wellsboro High School; graduated, Elmira Business College; workers compensation attorney; band and orchestra musician, soloist, teacher, director and composer; elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (1897); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican for te 1899 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1901 term; Journal Clerk, Pennsylvania State Senate (1907-1908); reelected to the House for the 1937 term (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936) and the 1939 term; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1941-1948); appointed, Local Government Commission (1943-1946); appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Retirement Systems and Laws (1947-1948); died while in office of the Senate, August 13, 1948 in Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania; interred, McClure Cemetery, Big Run, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.
