WILLIAMS, John J., a Representative from Lackawanna County; born in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pa., August 26, 1876; clerk and auditor, Glenolden Coal Company; alderman, 2nd Ward, Scranton; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1928 and served 2 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1934); died, December 12, 1934 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania; interred, Abington Hills Cemetery, Scanton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.
