WILLIAMS, Clarence Otto, a Representative from Washington County; born, Allenport, Washington County, Pa. on November 23, 1903; attended, Charleroi High School; miner; school director, Charleroi (1931); elected, justice of the peace (1932); elected, auditor, Charleroi (1937); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1938; reelected to the House in 1940, 1948, 1950, 1952, 1954, and 1956; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1942, 1958); elected, sheriff, Washington County (1941-1945); legislative liaison officer, Pennsylvania Office of the Governor (1959-1960); elected, council, Centerville; died, September 27, 1974 in Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Taylor Cemetery, Centerville, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
