WHITE, Robert M., II, a Representative from Lawrence County; born, April 15, 1918; attended, New Castle High School; graduated, Shadyside Academy; B.S., Washington and Jefferson College; LL.B., Michigan Law School; major, United States Marine Corps (1938-1945, World War II); lieutenant colonel, United States Marine Corps Reserves (1945-1978); attorney; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1950; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1952); solicitor, New Castle (1964-1967).
