WESTRICK, Dennis L., a Representative from Cambria County; born, Elder Township, Cambria County, Pa., on August 18, 1889; attended, The Pennsylvania State (University) College; attended, Indiana Normal School (now Indiana University of Pennsylvania); received, state teachers certificate (1909); teacher (26 years); farm owner and operator; bituminous coal miner (1917-1921); served, Board of Auditors, Elder Township (32 years); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1932; reelected in 1934, 1936, 1938, 1948, and 1950; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1940, 1946, 1952); fieldman, United States Department of Agriculture (1936-1938); elected, controller, Cambria County (1941-1944); died, January 5, 1966 in Ebensburg, Cambria County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Boniface Cemetery, Saint Boniface, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
