WEBSTER, Raymond C., a Representative from Chester County; born in Russellville, Chester County, Pa., February 5, 1895; graduated, Chester County public schools; B.A., West Chester Normal School (now West Chester University of Pennsylvania); M.S., University of Pennsylvania; private first class, Military Police, United States Army (World War I); mathematics teacher; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1937 term (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936); reelected to the House for the and 1939 term; appointed, Commission on the Conditions of the Urban Colored Population (1939-1944); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1941 term; appointed, field secretary, Pennsylvania State Education Association; died, December 12, 1957 in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
