WATSON, Clayton Andrew, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Columbia, Lancaster County, Pa., May 5, 1882; owner, hardware store; employed, Bureau of Weights and Measures, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (1918-1926); employed, Pennsylvania Department of Banking (1926-1935, 1939-1941); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1947 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1949 term; died, August 11, 1951 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Vernon Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
