WALTON, John Carroll, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, April 6, 1890 in Alexandria, Va.; Doctor of Pharmacy, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, 1910; retail druggist; director, Philadelphia Wholesale Drug Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1943 term; reelected to serve the 1947 term; appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Mental Health Laws (1947-1948); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1945 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1949 term; died in December of 1975 in Florida; interred, Boca Raton Municipal Cemetery and Mausoleum, Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, Florida.
