WALDRON, James Edward, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, September 24, 1909 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa.; staff sergeant, 781st Tank Battalion, United States Army (1942-1945, World War II); sales representative; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1947 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1949 term; senior mediator, Bureau of Mediation, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry (1949-1973); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1958, 1962); delegate, Pennsylvania’s Constitutional Convention (1968); died, May 25, 1979 in Seminole, Pinellas County, Florida; interred, Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida.
