VAN SICKLE, Henry K., a Representative from Northampton County; born in Easton, Northampton County, July 8, 1901; graduated, Easton High School; A.B., Lafayette College, 1924; graduated, Dickinson College School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law), 1928; attorney (1928-1956); elected, solicitor to the Recorder of Deeds office, Northampton County (1933-1934); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1935 and 1937 terms; appointed, Special Committee to Select Measure on the Subject of Abating Penalties and Interest on Delinquent Taxes (1935-1936); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1939 term; elected, District Attorney, Northampton County (1941-1944); died, January 16, 1956 in Wilson, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Philip and Saint James Cemetery, Greenwich Township, Warren County, New Jersey.
