TURBETT, Clyde H., a Representative from Juniata County; born in Turbett Township, Juniata County, Pa., August 7, 1902; employed, rug manufacture business; barbershop operator; owner, sewing factories; operator, antique shop; served, Republican State Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1943 term and reelected the following term; appointed, Joint State Government Commission Sub-Committee on Fish and Game Commissions (1945-1946); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1947 term; United States Patent holder, barber shears (1955); died in January of 1985 in Juniata County, Pennsylvania.
