TITTLE, Charles W., Sr., a Representative from Dauphin County; born in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pa., April 19, 1889; founder, secretary, and treasurer of Shenk and Tittle, Inc., sporting goods; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1945 and 1947 terms; appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Susquehanna River Fishways (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1949 term; died, May 17, 1964 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Shoops Cemetery, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
