C. Frick Coke Company (50 years); employee, Pennsylvania State Senate (1915-1917); member, Perry Township Board of Education (18 years); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1940); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1942; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1944, 1946, 1950); legislative clerk, United States Senator William E. Crow; lobbyist; died, October 6, 1963 in Smithton, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mounty Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
