THOMASSY, Fernand Arthur, II, a Representative from Washington County; born, McDonald, Washington County, Pa. on August 13, 1910; A.B., Washington and Jefferson College, 1933; lieutenant, United States Naval Reserve (World War II, North Atlantic, Artic and Bering Seas); hotel proprietor; theatre owner; mine operator; regional director and county chairman, Young Republicans of Washington County; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1946; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1948 General election; regional director, Western Pennsylvania, Federal Small Business Administration; died, May 8, 1999; interred, Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia.
