SPENGLER, Samuel Clifford, a Representative from Dauphin County; born in Strasburg, Shenandoah County, Va., April 13, 1882; graduated, Strasburg High School; attended, Southern College; instructor of courtesy and safety, Eastern Region, Pennsylvania Railroad; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1937 term (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1939 term; died, December 11, 1957 in Pennsylvania; interred, Shoops Cemetery, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
