SPANN, Max J., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa. on May 1, 1893; graduated, Allegheny High School; graduated, University of Pittsburgh, Department of Law, 1913; attorney; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1930 and 1932; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1934); died, October 26, 1971 in Miami Beach, Miami-Dade County, Florida.
