SNYDER, James L., a Representative from Perry County; born, September 5, 1875 in Liverpool Township, Perry County, Pa.; graduated, Valparaiso College; school teacher (1906-1910); president, Liverpool Board of Education; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1931 term; reelected to the House to serve the 1933 and 1935 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1937 term; died, December 1, 1965 in Williamstown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
