Clarence M., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Xenia, Greene County, Oh., August 8, 1902; graduated, East High School, 1920; attended, Payne Theological Seminary, Wilberforce University; attended, Hamma Divinity School, Wittenberg College; attended, Cincinnati School of Theology; attended, Union Seminary; pastor, Wayland Temple Baptist Church; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1947 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1949 term; died, May 18, 1970 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Merion Memorial Park, Bala Cynwyd, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
