SIMONS, Ralph Roscoe, a Representative from Mercer County; born in Clark’s Mills, Mercer County, Pa., August 8, 1889; B.S., Fredonia Institute, 1908; P.H.B., Grove City College, 1912; merchant; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1939, 1941 and 1943 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1945 term; elected, commissioner, Mercer County (1943-1952); elected, chair, Mercer County Republican Committee (1944-1950); died, September 24, 1970 in Greenville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
