SERRILL, Dr. William Wilfong, a Representative from Forest County; born in Jackson Township, Mercer County, Pa., November 18, 1877; attended, Volant College; attended, University of South; M.D., Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College), 1904; teacher; physician; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives by Special Election on April 28, 1936; Sworn-In, May 4, 1936 to serve the remaining 1935 term; reelected to the House for 6 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1949 term; elected, alternate delegate, Republican National Convention (1948); died, March 19, 1958 in Endeavor, Forest County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Collins Cemetery, Tionesta, Forest County, Pennsylvania.
